Note that all of this is 100% optional. But in the past we've had people say they didn't realize they could have input into their matches. We certainly want to encourage that and this form is a way to both encourage but also make it easier for people to do so. Again, this is not required and if you do one, you don't have to do everything listed below either.
Also note that not all ideas or suggestions may be able to be used dependent upon how many other suggestions we receive or what else may be going on within the course of the match.
====
Wrestler Name:
Show:
Match:
Entrance (if you'd like to write your own entrance for this match):
Spot Ideas: (This can be either written out spots or just general ideas of spots, either/or)
Match Storyline: (Any particular story beats you want the writer to factor into the match)
Segments For the Show: (Any interviews, vignettes, segments, etc you'd like to include in the show. You can submit this separately as well)
FYI STUFF:
Segments you can usually get to us as late as the day of the show, but the match strategy stuff we will need during the week leading up to the results being posted. If you plan on submitting a match strategy, I'd suggest getting it to us within a couple days of the promo deadline ending during a normal cycle.
We do, like the shows to follow the same format throughout, particularly in regards to the dialogue. Please have a look at a recent show, paying close attention to the way that the dialogue is formatted.
We don’t expect matches and segs to be sent in formatted with colours. Sending them in black and white is fine. We would, however, like the dialogue to be written in the same way that it is in current shows. Which would be something like:
====
We join Jeremy Best backstage where he is looking very friendly.
Jeremy Best: "Hi, this is Jeremy Best delivering some dialogue"
Jeremy waves to the camera as we fade back to the ring.
====
If you could at least let us know what colours your font should be, that'd be very helpful.
