”TAKEOVER.”
Live from the Kaseya Arena in Miami, Florida, USA.
Saturday 19th October, 2024.
FIRST MATCH | 1/20. Captain Righteous vs. DUDE-!. Exploding Barb Wire Dildo Electrified Gators with Lasers Mounted On Their Heads in a Moat Match Sponsored By Home Depot. Match Writer: ??. |
Captain Righteous has had quite the start to his FWA career, by first defeating FWA Television Champion XYZ before teaming with him to overcome the partnership of Tommy Bedlam (the FWA X Champion) and Blair Ravenwood. That means Righteous has already overcome two of the company's champions, which will surely provide him with momentum ahead of his shot at XYZ’s title at Lights Out. If he is to keep this run going, he will have to overcome another undefeated newcomer in DUDE-!, who overcame fellow debutant Lexi Lemonis in his first match last week. Note the particularly strange stipulation placed on this match, as well as every other one on the card, which is a direct result of the NTR “takeover” allowed by Jon Russnow. |
SECOND MATCH | 1/20. Mike Parr vs. XYZ. Reverse Tables Match Sponsored By Ikea. Match Writer: ??. |
In the FWA’s first ever ‘reverse tables match’, where a table just be assembled from flat pack in order to win, Mike Parr and XYZ will go head to head in this non-title contest. X returned to winning ways on Meltdown XLIV, where he teamed with his soon-to-be challenger Captain Righteous to overcome the team of Tommy Bedlam and Blair Ravenwood. Mike Parr put one in the W column on the previous cycle with a win over Vengador, but was unable to keep this momentum going in Fallout 044’s Golden Opportunity match. He will be hoping to put that defeat behind him in Miami, at the expense of the current FWA Television Champion. |
THIRD MATCH | 1/20. Cinematic Universe (Aaron Harrows and Brooklyn Steiner) vs. Traffic Cone #2 and Owen the Intern. NTR Dojo Fundamentals Only Match Sponsored By Duolingo. Match Writer: ??. |
Cinematic Universe may have fallen to Vox Potentis in the first round of the Elite Tag Team Classic, but they made full use of their ‘second chance’ in the Redemption Bracket last week, when they defeated the Undisputed Alliance to qualify for Lights Out’s number one contendership match. They will face either Eternal or Trick or Trash at the pay-per-view in Puerto Rico, depending on who triumphs in Fallout 045’s opener, but before that they have another chance to build some momentum. In Miami, they will take on Owen the Intern and Traffic Cone #2 of the NTR dojo, and will hope that the ‘NTR takeover’ show theme won't work out to their detriment. All members of NTR are currently undefeated since the group's formation, with Harrows and Steiner hoping to break that duck in this ‘NTR Dojo Fundamentals’ match. |
FOURTH MATCH | MAIN EVENT | 1/30. Alejandro Giunti, Luna Piper, and Jin-Ho vs. ’Ton Tonton’ J.J. JI!, Michelle von Horrowitz, and Vengador. DILF Deathmatch Sponsored By Dennys. Match Writer: ??. |
It has been a quiet month for the current FWA Trios Champions, who overthrew TR1CK OR TR4SH for the belts at this year's Back in Business. Since then, though, all has been quiet for the new champions, but that is due to change in Meltdown XLV’s main event. On Fallout 044, Michelle von Horrowitz requested a tag team match for herself and Ton Tonton, ostensibly in an attempt to put him as a certain COSMIC HORROR. Jon Russnow responded by offering her a trios match, if she could find a partner. This entered Vengador, who offered his services to the tandem and has been sniffing around Tonton after hearing about a potential bounty to be hunted. Their opponents are Piper, Jin-Ho, and Giunti, fresh from disappointment in the Steel Roulette match. Although this contest is due to be a non-title match, victory over the current champions would surely put this makeshift menage-a-trois in the conversation for a future title opportunity. |

”VIVA LA REVOLUCIÓN.”
Live from Playas del Este in Havana, Cuba.
Monday 21st October, 2024.
FIRST MATCH | 1/20. Eternal (Keres and Nova Taylor) vs. Trick or Trash (Halloween Knight and Juan Tothrefor). Tag Team Match. The Elite Classic: Redemption Bracket. Match Writer: ??. |
Both of these teams were unsuccessful in on their recent Elite Tag Team Classic semi-final, with Eternal succumbing to NTR and Trick or Trash defeated by Vox Potentis. All is not lost, though, as they now have a second chance in the Redemption Bracket. Cinematic Universe have already qualified for that Lights Out number one contendership match by defeating the Undisputed Alliance on Fallout 044, and they will face the victors of this 045 opener. The winner of that match will be next in line for an FWA World Tag Team Championship shot following the pay-per-view. Trick or Trash have been given permission to adjust their line-up for this specific contest, with Juan Tothrefor replacing Trash Mammal for as yet unspecified reasons. |
SECOND MATCH | 1/20. Tommy Bedlam vs. Jackson Fenix. Singles Match. Match Writer: Tommy. |
Tommy Bedlam was on quite the role leading into Meltdown XLIV, but was unable to continue his hot streak when he partnered with Blair Ravenwood in an unsuccessful effort against XYZ and Captain Righteous. Bedlam will defend his FWA X Championship against ‘the Queen Bee's t the forthcoming Lights Out pay-per-view, and so will be looking to win back some momentum in this one on one match. Jackson Fenix, meanwhile, has been going through some issues with his tag team partner, Nate Savage, and will perhaps be pleased that his next engagement is a solo affair. |
THIRD MATCH | 1/20. Mejor Amigo vs. Gabrielle. Singles Match. Match Writer: Dubb. |
After defeating Trixie Bordeaux to become the number one contender to the FWA World Championship, current champion Jeremy Best invited Gabrielle to Fallout 044 for a “playdate.” However, it would not be a playful encounter for the duo as things got heated as Jeremy attempted to manipulate Gabrielle into focusing on her friendship with Lizzie Rose instead of pursuing the title. When it didn’t work, Jeremy’s newest friends/muscle - The Goodefellas - attacked Gabrielle, putting her through a table and effectively weakened her before her big Golden Opportunity Match later in the evening. Following the events of Fallout 044, Gabrielle wanted any member of the Friendship Wrestling Alliance for Fallout 045 - to which Jeremy offered up his number 3 in command, Mejor Amigo. |
FOURTH MATCH | MAIN EVENT | 1/30. NTR (Danny Toner and Nova Diamond) vs. Vox Potentis (Jean-Luc Watkins and Konchu Hao). Tag Team Match. The Elite Tag Team Classic: Final Match. Match Writer: supinesnake. |
The Elite Tag Team Classic’s second installment comes to a head on Fallout 045, when Vox Potentis and NTR face off in the tournament's final match. Diamond and Toner, after making their explosive return, have defeated the Buddy System and Eternal on their route to the final, whilst Vox Potentis overcame Cinematic Universe in the first round and Trick or Trash in the semi-finals. Now, both times are only one victory away from winning the tournament, and as a result earning themselves a shot at the FWA World Tag Team Championships. Those belts are currently held by FTN, who will be watching this one closely to find out who the first challengers of their second reign will be at Puerto Rico’s Lights Out. |
