Welcome to the official application page for the first ever Ground Zero mini season Fright Night. For those who do not know, Ground Zero is a kayfabe reality competition show (think a mix of Tough Enough and NXT) to determine the next FWA Star. It's basically like my own version of an FWA Be The Booker. The first season of Ground Zero was entirely made up of my own characters, and the second season this evolved to where other handlers could volunteer their own character ideas to compete. The third season featured tag teams, the fourth season had a luchador theme and took place in Mexico, and the fifth season featured all women wrestlers, and the sixth season had a hardcore theme. This season the theme is SPOOKY. So we'll be looking for all sorts of spooky, mythical, and strange characters. How this will work is anyone is free to fill out the application and donate characters for me to use for this. These characters, or most of them, will compete on the show. I will eliminate a number of them each week until the final week, where a winner of the show is determined (with the kayfabe reward of an FWA contract). You DO NOT have to commit to anything if you submit a character idea here. There will not be weekly promos, I will not demand you to write segments, etc. In the past, people have written segments for their characters, but it is not necessary. The weekly results and matches will simply be decided by me. So do not feel like you don't want to commit to anything so you aren't making a character With that said, if you foresee yourself using this character for real in the fed and feel like this is a great way to get them started, then please let me know. Anyone who tells me that they plan on using the character in the FWA will have their character survive until the final episode. At that point there will be an official sanctioned match and promo thread to determine the winner. But again, for this you have to let me know so that I KNOW your character is legit. Otherwise they may get eliminated early in the competition. You may submit multiple characters, as many as you wish in fact, but do note two things. The first thing is, the main portion of the competition will only feature at most 18-20 Characters. Which means even if there are 60 characters submitted, I'll cut it all the way down to 18 by the end of the first episode. Also note that if you have multiple characters, I will likely eliminate some of those early. With all that said, I appreciate anyone who volunteers an application. For this mini season I am only going to be doing about 3-4 episodes, so it won't have a long run time. It'll start and end in October. Have fun! Two years ago Priscilla fell under the microscope of a heavy investigation after a wild fire claimed the lives of Priscillaโs father and twin older brothers, Priscilla was practically unphased except for severe burns on her left arm and being knocked unconscious claiming someone saved her. Someone had saved her, Millard Monster, born Heinrich Gaunt he was a love interest of Priscillaโs until her brothers told her father who in return killed him. He further punished his daughter by locking her away in a long forgotten part of the family estate, a place where old stories proved true. For two years Priscilla pieced back together her sweet Heinrich, but she'd built him a new and fell in love with her Millard Monster. Together they set themselves free of her Father and brothers. With no evidence to link Priscilla she was released and the Frankenstein fire remains a cold case. Priscilla and her extremely loyal bodyguard lover Millard set out on the road living the life of carney scrubs. Her path crossed with the legendary Van Helsing monster hunting family, especially Harlow Van Helsing. The monster she was tracking had led her to America, Florida, Jupiter Florida to be exact and that same creature was being hunted by Harlow. The monster when finally cornered by the pair was a demon summoned by Matsui's own Father to kill his children and remove them from ever getting their inheritance. However the demon had latched onto Matsui's sister, killing their Father before fleeing. Harlow helped kill the demon and even though it was death, they freed Matsuiโs sister. Opting to stay in Jupiter, Matsui and Harlow married, soon having two sons: Hiram and Herschel. The Van Helsing still hunts monsters and Herschel has a score to settle: find the monster that killed his older brother. The stage has been set at Ground Zero the Spooky Spoils. She was a "Jane Doe" found following a car accident, with no identification on her and no matching fingerprint records in any database. No one ever showed up to claim her. No one ever put out a missing persons report matching her description. Shortly after her accident, she began to see visions of a large white rabbit figure that referred to her as Alice. This figure, which she believes saved her life, now guides her actions, but its motives are unclear. The rabbit whispers dark thoughts and pushes her to do things she wouldnโt normally do, leading her down a path of unpredictability and chaos. She comes to the ring with a a jacket with a hood resembling rabbit ears while carrying a large, oversized dirty stuffed rabbit head mask. She will often talk to the rabbit's head during the entrance and also during the match. Her wrestling style could be unpredictable, almost as if sheโs being guided by the rabbitโs whispers. Despite his dedication and work ethic, he couldn't quite connect with the audience or find his niche. One fateful night, Ted attended a local haunted house attraction to unwind after a particularly gruelling wrestling match. Little did he know, this visit would alter his career forever. During his visit, Ted became entangled in a series of eerie and supernatural occurrences that felt all too real. The haunted house, reputed to be genuinely cursed, seemed to draw him into its otherworldly grip. As Ted explored the attraction, he encountered a mysterious, ancient tome bound in leather, dubbed "Lilith's diary." Driven by curiosity, he opened the book and read aloud an incantation inscribed on its pages. His physical appearance started to transform in subtle but unsettling ways. Backstory: A regular sight on the Australian independent wrestling scene, Dannibal Hackney is a tall, muscular, charismatic big boy who never fails to get a crowd roaring, be it ulta-friendly crowd pleasing promos, his simply yet stylish wrestling, or just his winning smile. Exhuding pure babyface energy, Dannibal wouldn't be out of place as the lead face in a 1980's promotion, and he is regularly the highest merch seller of any independant show. He's the friendliest babyface in any fed, the guy who is always happy to help out another face against some two-timing villains. Everyone loves Dannibal. Just look at the guy and his many, many accessories. He's so fun. He's also a cannibal. Now, I know what you're thinking, and first off, yes, I would like to date you. Second off, yes, cannibalism is, indeed, frowned upon in most societies, rightly so. And yet, Dannibal The Shoot Cannibal is enormously popular and has never once been arrested for cannibalism. Why? Because it's wrestling. Everyone thinks it's all fake. So a guy being a cannibal in plain sight has people laughing it off as just a persona. Therefore, he's able to keep doing his people-eating thing, and if anyone tries to get him arrested, the police will just say 'you know it's fake, right? Like. It's an act. Fuck off.' Gimmick/Backstory: Bubbles the Clown was discovered by The Undisputed Xperienx one fateful day at a speed dating event, and ever since then he's been the mascot for The Undisputed Alliance/Xperienx. Not much else is known about Bubbles, like where he came from, his real name, age, etc. What is known is that despite his scary look, he's quite the friendly clown and is beloved by all.
Bubbles has no prior wrestling experience or knowledge of it other than watching Jackson Fenix, Nate Savage, and Xperienx Xtacee, his skillset is limited but he's picked up some things along the way from his friends. No one knows how Bubbles ended up here in Ground Zero but he's here and it's the spooky season so he fits right in. One last thing, Bubbles does not speak.

GADGETS; (Sometimes Moves aren't enough so he has a bag of inventions on hand
The Shock Glove-When Doomlittle punches his opponent, this glove delivers a mild electrical shock, increasing the impact of his strikes. He might discreetly turn it on when the referee isn't looking for a shocking advantage.
The Chemical Vial- A glass vial filled with colourful liquid that bubbles and smokes, giving it an otherworldly appearance. Itโs labelled with humorous names like โDoomsday Juiceโ or โBubbling Trouble.โ Doomlittle drinks from it to give himself superhuman strength
The Anti-Gravity Boots- These boots have exaggerated soles and a sci-fi aesthetic, giving them a futuristic look. Theyโre equipped with springs and mechanisms that allow for high jumps. Doomlittle uses these boots to leap off the ropes with enhanced height and distance, catching his opponents off-guard with unexpected aerial attacks.
A handheld remote control with various buttons that called down his dreaded CARDBOARD ROBOT ARMY!

Gimmick/Backstory: Dr Doomlittle is wrestling's premier Mad scientist. While Doomlittle is all energy, chaos, and mad-scientist mania, Nurse Nefarious is the deadpan, stoic presence by his side. Constantly being fed up with her boss's antics, often begrudgingly following his commands, but it's clear she thinks she's far too qualified to be involved in this bullshit" Despite her reluctance, she's a highly skilled wrestler and technician.
Though her alignment is technically heel because of her association with Doomlittle, fans often sympathize with her due to her constant eye rolls, sarcastic mannerisms, and clear disinterest in her boss's outlandish schemes. Like having him win Ground Zero |

Gimmick/Backstory: Maxwell Geist is an intelligent but also smooth talking man. He went to and previously worked at Columbia University where he has a PhD in pyschology. He had a deep interested in the paranormal, but his studies were unsuccessful but that didn't stop him from realizing that there's a lot of gullible people out there who believe that their houses are truly haunted. And if there's anything that interests Max more than the paranormal... it's money. So he formed the Spook Squashers alongside his brother to dupe these gullible people out of money as he rids their homes of these anything spooky.
Hearing that Ground Zero has gone Spooky this year... Maxwell sees big money signs.
Wrestling style is mostly fast paced and high flying mixed in with cowardly acts.

Boo Gimmick/Backstory: Unlike his brother, Pete did go to a fancy Ivy League university. In fact, Pete did not go to any kind of four year college. He did get go to community college for a bit... but ultimately he's slightly dimwhitted but is the braun to Maxwell's brains but also shares Maxwell's interest in money. Especially since life changing oil at a Jiffy Lube isn't exactly lucrative. So he typically finds himself going along with Maxwell's schemes, including signing up to hunt the spooky alongside his brother. Style of wrestling is a mixture of power moves and submissions. Gimmick/Backstory: Born and raised on a pig farm in a small town in Florida, the most formative event of Dwight Whiteman's childhood was the night of October 31st, 1982. His tenth birthday. Whilst out trick or treating, Whiteman saw (or believed he saw) a human sacrifice on the banks of Maggie's Swamp. He heard an awful lot that night about the occult, the end of the world, the Voodoo Throne, the World of Shadows, and other snippets of information he didn't fully understand. Regardless of his ignorance, Whiteman was terrified, and vowed to put an end to this sick filth.
Whiteman swept into the Senate in the 2016 elections on an anti-occult platform, and - at least according to his critics - stirred up local divisions in order to grasp power. Fast forward to late 2024, when rumours of a forthcoming rassling tournament began to spread, where the participants would be the denizens of the very world the Senator vowed to smash. Whiteman finally gave in to mounting constituent pressure to face this threat head on, and signed up for Season Seven(?) of Ground Zero.
